The issue of European integration is a priority for GUAM countries. However, it should be taken into account that GUAM countries, together with Turkey, have slim chances for the EU membership in the next 25 to 30 years. Turkey can serve as a stable and reliable business partner for the GUAM countries and foster the creation of a joint market as well as other programs that resemble the initial stages of the EU.
