With the elections in the U.S. behind us, the author argues against the logic of many Turkish Americans to vote on the basis of the Armenian Genocide bill and instead urges them to vote in accordance with their own values, domestic priorities, and vision for the future of America. He underlines the importance of supporting Turkish Americans that are eager to enter American politics at the local level as well.
