This article argues that successful integration of Muslim immigrants in Europe is the ticket for Turkey's accession to the European Union. European attitudes and policies as well as the tendencies of the Muslim community in Europe are analyzed and a road map for Euro-Islamic integration is advocated.  The critical importance of secularism in Europe is underlined and means to bridge the civilizations are explored.What is Europe? What is Islam? Can both be related to one another? These questions are asked today with regard to two issue areas, firstly, Islamic migration to the EU and secondly, Turkey’s bid for accession to the EU. There is a clear link between both.
