Aili Mari Tripp

Aili Mari Tripp is the Wangari Maathai Professor of Political Science and Gender and Women’s Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Tripp is author of the forthcoming book Seeking Legitimacy: Why Arab Autocracies Adopt Women's Rights. Tripp is co-director of the research project, Women and Peacebuilding in Africa, funded by the Norwegian Foreign Ministry and Carnegie Corporation of New York.
