Women Leaders in Diplomacy

On 7 March 2020, in the backdrop of Croatia's Presidency of the Council of the EU, Turkish Policy Quarterly (TPQ), in collaboration with Istanbul Consular Corps (ICC), organized a panel dedicated to women leaders within diplomacy ahead of International Women's Day at Soho House Istanbul. The discussion revolved around critical issues that women leaders face, means of empowering women in the workforce, and ways of rethinking diplomacy from a gender perspective. The event also ignited discussions on gendered institutions and women’s representation across diplomacy.
